General Guidelines for Custom Builds

Despite there being custom work done to the kids ride on toy, please be advised that parents and guardians should continue to refer to the original owner’s booklet/manual that came with the ride on toy to maximize the safety and security of children. 

Information provided in the Owner’s Manual will give you valuable information such as: 

– Contents 
– Safety & Warning Guidelines 
– Weight Limit
– Operating Instructions 
– Battery Operating Guide 
– Functions and Operations of Factory Features
– Parental Control Instructions (Connection, Specifications, Parameters, etc.)
– Defective Conditions and their Key Points of Inspections 

In most cases, when a ride on toy is customized the original factory suspension of your ride on toy was altered to accomplish the desired stance, profile, or overall look. It is advised that toys with suspension alterations adhere to the same precautions car enthusiasts use for their altered, lifted, or lowered vehicles. You may utilize this opportunity to apply and teach age appropriate children how to properly navigate and drive their custom ride on toy. (Additional advice and tips for driving altered or lowered vehicles can also be found throughout the internet on car forums or dealer sites.) 

Custom wheels are modified and reinforced for strength. Wheels can still sustain damage if they are curbed or inserts are tugged on. It is advised that children are supervised as small parts such as hardware are used to maintain the function of the wheels. This a potential CHOKING HAZARD. To prevent accidents or injury, please inspect the wheels at regular intervals for wear or loose hardware and tighten as required (normal wear and tear with usage). It is recommended that the wheels are not altered or uninstalled. If any damages occur due to the removal of the custom wheels, KidStance does not warranty any unforeseen malfunctions or damages. 

Regularly check the conditions of the custom ride on toy. This includes the hardware (screws, rivets, etc.) electrical systems, plug connectors, fuses, covers or caps that protect the electrical components, cables, etc. You may also periodically lubricate (with a lightweight oil) moving parts that rotate or touch each other. Avoid disassembling vehicle mechanisms unless advised by the product manufacturer or under the guidance of the builder. It is advised that children are supervised as small parts such as hardware are used to maintain the function of the ride on toy. This a potential CHOKING HAZARD

Please adhere to weight restrictions; adults are advised not to ride on these toys and discretion should be considered if models are being photographed with your custom toy.  

Additional instructions for use of your custom toy will be provided according to the build you have, or we can provide this information upon request.

Children should ALWAYS be supervised!! It is the responsibility of the adult to supervise, instruct the child, and to determine if the child can operate the ride on toy.

Warranty/Returns/Cancellation Policy

BASE MODELS/RIDE ON TOYS 

LIMITED WARRANTY– Ride on toys purchased in our shop are covered under a 6-month warranty. Warranty is limited to replacement of faulty parts and does not cover the shipping cost of parts. For replacement parts, please contact KidStance.

Warranty WILL be voided for reasons listed but not limited to:

– Products not purchased directly from us.
– Damage resulting from abuse, misuse, or lack of maintenance care. Please read the manual
– Third Party usage of any kind including rental
– Damage resulting from extended wear and tear
– Damage resulting from tampering or modifications by customer.
– Damage resulting from exposure to heat, cold, water, and weather conditions.
– Consequential, incidental, indirect, punitive, and/or other damages.

To request a part under Warranty:

Please contact KidStance and include the Order Number. If you do not have the order number please include the Order Date, Product Name, Name of Purchaser, Your Name (if not same as purchaser), Shipping Address, and Telephone Number. Let us know the issue that you encountered, and the part needed for replacement. You may be asked to return original defective part before we can send you a replacement. We’ll get you the necessary component as quickly as we can.

DAMAGES DURING SHIPPING

If your ride on toy is damaged in shipping, contact KidStance within 3 days of receiving the toy. Please open your package immediately upon delivery for inspection. Take pictures of the damage that occurred during shipping for supporting documentation and assessment. Once the damage is assessed, we will either send replacement parts or replace the toy with the exact same model under the listed circumstances:

– The toy is lost
– Established a total loss by damages during shipping
– Replacement parts not available

Please contact KidStance and include the Order Number. If you do not have the order number please include the Order Date, Product Name, Name of Purchaser, Your Name (if not same as purchaser), Shipping Address, Telephone Number, and pictures. Please Do Not ship any products until you hear from us as hasty actions to resolve said circumstances can result in delays and the possibility of additional liabilities on behalf of the customer.  

CANCELLATIONS Once a tracking number is issued, we cannot cancel your order. Returns are accepted for unused toys in unopened boxes. You will be responsible for shipping the item back and all costs associated with your return including a $40 restocking fee. Please review the return policy.

RETURNS– Products that are defective may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of the delivery date. Please open and inspect your package immediately upon receiving it. Refunds will be applied to original payment method used for purchase. Products that show signs of being used cannot be returned. 

RETURNS PROCESS:

Please contact KidStance and include the Order Number. If you do not have the order number please include the Order Date, Product Name, Name of Purchaser, Your Name (if different from purchaser), Reason for Return, Your Name, Shipping Address and Telephone Number to receive an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorization). Please Do Not ship any products before receiving RMA with return instructions.

Upon receipt of the item and completion of our inspection, a refund or replacement will be processed. If item is found to be defective, we will either grant a full refund or a replacement at no additional cost. If the product is NOT defective and we grant a refund, it will be for 75% of your original payment.

TO MAKE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE: 

  1. Contact for RMA number. 
  2. Attach the RMA number on outside of package you are shipping back to us. 
  3. Returned shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer 

We recommend shipping returned items only via freight and insuring contents against damage.
